Ingredients

  • 2 – 2 ½ cups coconut milk
  • 1 ½ cups rolled oats
  • ½ tbs ground flax seed
  • 2 tsp vanilla 
  • 2 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 1 tsp rose water

     

    Optional add-ins:

  • Pumpkin seeds

  • Sunflower seeds

  • Raisins and other dried fruit

Instructions

Step 1

Heat 2 cups of coconut milk, cinnamon powder, vanilla and rose water.

Step 2

Add the oats, while stirring, followed by the ground flax seeds. Cook for 3 minutes on a low-medium flame so there’s a steady bubble in the pot. If you like your oats super soft, cook for 5 minutes.

Step 3

Check the consistency and if you’d like more liquid, add the additional ½ cup of milk. 

Step 4

Once cooked, remove from the heat and sweeten with your choice of sweetener. You can also add pumpkin seeds for a crunch and protein boost, as well as other seeds, nuts and dried fruit.
